W124 400/500E 4-piston calipers on W126?

I've searched the google and on here and can't find a definitive answer, so hopefully someone on here might know. I have a 1983 grey-market 500SEC, it's pristine, low miles (~120k almost) and I baby it. Had been stored in a hanger after the original owner who imported it passed away and his son occasionally drove it in the years from then till I got it. It's lowered quite a lot by some peoples standards although I've been driving "slammed" cars for decades now so to me it's just right for a car that's low, but still easy to drive. Anyhow, I do take it to shows and events and it's sitting on a set of NOS (NOS when I put them on early 2020) 18" OZ MAE wheels I got right before the pandemic that had been sitting in someone's garage since new and never mounted on a car.

I need a nice set of brakes to pop out behind the openings of them and had been considering a proper big brake kit, but really would rather not spend 2-3k on it. Which brings me to the brakes on 400/500E. I just got a super clean 93 400e for a daily driver and kids first classic to drive. And unbeknownst to me, it's got proper 4-piston calipers hiding behind the stock wheels! Total bonus I wasn't expecting and I will say it stops effortlessly. So it got me thinking, will these calipers bolt up on my 500SEC? If they will, I'm gonna order a set, get them painted, put MBZ decals on them and have a good functioning BBK upgrade for super cheap.

If no one knows, I'm considering getting a pair of them anyhow for my 400 and having them painted/decaled and then just try the old set to see, no loss there. But fingers are crossed someone says "yes just need XYZ rotors that only fit 15" or larger wheels" which no problem there.

Here's a few pics of the cars mentioned for attention.
