i may be parting a 85 300 sd

i recently bought it and im not satisfied with it as a whole and the seller is very stubborn in beliveing that there is the problems we are mentioning mostly because he has put alot of upgrades on it and feels its the best car in the world. this a a beatiful car but i already have a 83 300sd with all the problems worked out and is great, but got in a small but pricey wreck so id rather fix my 83 than go through the nickel and dime process of fixing this one.

we thought about selling it but dont want someone who doesnt know what they are getting into to be let down. so were thinking parting may be the best solution because we could take the parts to finish our own and sell the rest to other owners looking to fix there own cars.

i just wanted to see how much interest there is around this fourm for parts because i know w126 owners are constantly looking for these rare parts.

everything would be for sale excpet the bumper, left quater panel, and a few othere left front items.

its a burgandy red body with cream leather not faded but a few tears in 3 spots, upgrades include, taillights, europ headlights, clear corner, sl sport grill, lorinser rims and a few others ill check back with pics and more specs later

ive have done alot of trading on online forums and ebay and im paypal verified

so post what you need and ill get back the final decision to part will be made with in the next 4-5 days

When you say cream leather seats, do you mean Palomino? If so, I'd like to have the rear seat back with the headrests attached on them as well.

the leather is light than tan and ive seen palimino and creme used to describe the same color so i guess pics will be best up in 20 mins

How else can the instrument panel be sold? In pieces... like the speedo on its own, the tach on its own, etc? Mine has what I suspect to be a bad and erratic temperature gauge so that's really all I need.

Well the instrument cluster was one of the things I said I wanted. I'm just waiting for the prices, so it isn't available to you as of now.

 

well the instrment panel is made up of 3 diffrent pieces behind the bezel the tach, speedo and gauges.

the only reason i asked it that other had asked for jsut one piece and i only want to sell it as a whole

Wep, you can have the instrument panel. Pulsepb has taken so long in getting back to us that I've actually come across another instrument cluster and purchased it. I hope he responds soon on the other items or I might be forced to start getting them from elsewhere.

 

im interested on the whole sunroof mechanism(track and everything else except the sunroof cover) please let me know how much will it cost me and if u can also check the price of ur wheel chrome molding and all the door moldings(chrome) on both sides pls let me know if they have a lot of scratches, the prise on all the light intruments (dome front & back,reading light in the back (both). Please let me know as soon as u get the prices specially the prize for the sunroof mechanism. Thanks
