91 560 SEL Oil Leak( driver side)
Our 5.6 has a significant oil leak, driver side. Was hoping it was a valve cover gasket, it seems ok.
I replaced timing chain, upper guides, cam oiler items, tensioner about 1K ago( 3+ years, not driven much).
This leak leaves a puddle whenever vehicle is stopped. Putting it on a lift this afternoon for a look, hope to find cause.
Are there any external oil lines on these W117 engines? Can’t find a good schematic of head anywhere.
Any ideas?..

Traced leak to the cam cover, we could see a leak between cylinder 3&4 left bank. Appearently the gasket must have slipped into head . Getting ready to take apart this week.
