W126 with a M104 swap good or bad

I would like to hear some opinions on a common swap and if people would see the conversion as a positive thing increasing the cars value, worth no more or detrimental to the value and interest of W126 buyers.

The car is in extremely good condition inside and out with 122k and no issues, The engine and transmission are very low mileage 1990 300CE units with 61k and I will likely go ahead and do the head gasket since it's already out of the donor car. The swap will be very professionally done with no indications that the car didn't already have this as an option. These wheels are off of my 380SL but I plan to go with some 17" monoblocks if I do the swap.

I have been sitting on this drivetrain for years now and this 89 300SE I have is probably going to be as good of a recipient as any if it makes sense to take advantage of an easy swap. I honestly don't really care since I never drive the car but if it makes it more valuable then it may be worth doing. What do you think?
