89 300 se w140 wheels?

I have a beautiful set of w140 wheels from my other car that I would like to fit to the w126. I see some people have done just that..... what size spacers did you use & from where?

Sorry they won't fit. I found some too, and almost went to pick them up but found out they wont fit. The lug bolts for our w126s and most other mercedes are 12mm while on the w140 they are 14mm. In otherwards, the hole on the wheel that you insert the lugbolt into is bigger than on our cars. You could make it work with a new hub though, but is it that serious??

You just need to get the lugnuts with the proper seat. The companies with quality spacers appear to machine the spacer knowing how to fit the newer wheels. Tonight I will take off a lug bolt from the 95 S600 and check out the 89 300SE. Keep posted.
