1990 420SEL
W126 Prices

Hi all. Just joined MBWorld and looking for some advice. If this is the wrong forum, apologies.

I have a 1990 420SEL that I bought 2 years ago. Always wanted one and jumped on one near me that needed some work. Cosmetically, it's in pretty great shape for it's age. I've rebuilt the transmission, suspension work, radiator, other things I can't remember. I have the records, I'm just not near them.

I unfortunately think I need to sell it. A W126 has always been a dream but I don't drive it as much as I should and think it's time to let someone else enjoy it.

My question: How do you reliably price these things? I've looked on Cars & Bids, Bring A Trailer and Hagerty to find a ballpark of where I should list mine. I even check autotempest to see what others have thiers listed for. Is there any one or two places I should be checking or should I find the middle ground between good and fair and price it from there?

Just a few quick facts.

Black on Black.
211,000 miles.
$12,000 in recent work over the last two years with records.
No cracks in the dash.
Gauges are perfect.
Leather is supple and no cracks (with the exception of the driver side bolster showing good wear)
Fenders aren't rusted at all.
Few rust bubbles starting to develop in two areas

Any sort of direction someone could point me in, would be so helpful. Thanks in advance!
