500SEC European vs. U.S. Version

What's the difference? Are the European versions better or worse than the US version?

What should I watch out for on an 85 500SEC Euro model?

Thanks for all the help. I"m really interested to hear what owners have to say.

US versions are all detuned for emmisson or safety reasons. Exemple: US's 560SEL has 238 hp while Euro's has 300 hp. I think Euro's engine is less restricted.
