1990 300SEL: speed sensitive steering?

Does a 1990 W126 have speed sensitive steering? If so, where is the device that adjusts the amount of power steering boost?

I have never noticed the different effort required at parking lot speeds in a 126 that fits with variable assist.

Newer cars all have an electrical connector at the rack for varying assist. 126 still ‘analog.’
