Replacement interior question?
I'm going to replace the seat covers to my '84 500 SEL, and was not sure if the MB text that is offered by many of the suppliers has the same pattern that my car came with? I've read that the covers are considered special order items and are non returnable, and don't want to end up with covers that look like they came out of a 300E or a SL.
Does anybody have experience with the difference in the patterns, since I don't feel that the added cost is justified on a 20 year old car to go back to leather. Any advise would be appreciated.

look for the samples, and you can see it for yourself.
my $.02 would be to have a trimmer just recover your seats and replace the foam (important, cheap, and often forgotten...), but they arer easy to come by here in socal..not sure where u r..
