I'd like to say Yeah if you're fine with averaging about 18 mpg and having to deal with the maintenance of a V8 engine, but I need way more information on the car than that. What is its condition? How does it run? How does the transmission shift? How are the brakes? Suspension, etc?

my current car is in that same gas usage-ballpark, so that's cool...
The paint shines like new. It is a black metallic with a flake that sparkles very nicley. All of the chrome is in good shape and shines brilliantly. The rims are genuine chrome Mercedes wheels. The tires appear to be fairly new and the tread seems to be in excellent condition. The air conditioning blows very cold. The sunroof works. The leather for the most part is in very good shape. There is some wear on the center armrest but fairly minor. The wood is in good condition. No cracking but it is starting to wear. The dashboard has four cracks in it. A dashpad would correct that problem. The car is equipped with a CD player. It has an 8 cylinder motor that runs very well. The car still has all of the power it was made with. The compression is good. The motor is firing correctly. The windows have dark limo tint all the way around that is in perfect condition. The power windows work. Two of the power seat functions work on the drivers seat but one of the functions works on and off. Overall the car appears to be a very
solid driver.

carspainc,
If you can get a Pre-Purchase Inspection done by a very knowledgeable mechanic, do so before you decide to purchase it. That car looks ultra sharp though!!
Your 1993 300E gets less than 18mpg? What exactly does it get?
