380SE 1981. EURO. HIGH gasoline Consumption
Hello, I´m fron Spain. I Have got a MB 380SE 81 EURO. It consumption is about 20 litres/100Km. I think that the injection regulation is not correct. I would like to compare it with others persons. I´m sorry for my english, is not very good.

Hi oscar,
I have an 81 euro 500sel. I think I am getting between 15l per 100km and 25l per 100 km. It all depends on how hard I drive it. If I drive in town or around traffic I get 25l/100km. on the highway (130km/h) I get 15l per gallon. Tune, Engine timeing, and fuel quality can influance it.

Thank you for your reply. I think that if you can get 15l per 100 km with a 500 sel, I could get less consumption with my SE380, about 13-14l per 100 km. I will test my car only on the highway driving at 130 km/h.
Can I feed my car with unleaded fuel? I always feed it with SUPER.
