Open hood, look for access (square) panel in cover behind the headlamp access door. There should be a plastic container with a dipstick. Or get under the car there should be hoses coming from the shocks that go to round contailers like a ball, and there should be a valve connected to the rear waybar and axle. All US versions had it standard but I can not guarantee yours. The self leveling pump is part of the power steering pump!

Awesome thanks. This one is imported from Japan so it wasn't standard option.
What problems can arise in fitting aftermarket suspension to a vehicle fitted with self leving?

The first thing would be to see if there is ample adjustment in the self leveling if you decide to lower it. There is an adjustment but I dont know the range. I have been told that the system has a little residual pressure for ride comfort. You should search to see if there are any posts on the subject try
