clear corners that suck!

I bought soem clear corners on Ebay. problem is the "latch" broke off. I lost one of them on the highway too. But I must admit these did fit my 1995 S320 (yes they worked but were so cheaply made and the clip that latches was vey brittle and cheap. They worked but did not have the quality of OEM. Any suggestions?

Dude, exact same thing happened to me, i didnt even notice....until i pulled up to work and noticed the corner gone, that **** looked so tacky......i put the crappy yellow OEM's back on and havent ****ed with it since....
The latch on them never secured properly....replacent would more than likely
do the same thing. I think all the euro corners sold on ebay, r made by the same company....

I have never liked the aftermarket clear corners, they all look cheap to me. The later W140 corners are mostly clear with a small yellow side reflector and look good IMHO.

Most of the ones on ebay are sort of suspect. I actually puchased mine from a person who travelled over to Germany and purchased the official Bosch ones for his vehicle. Had the box and ticket of authentication with him when I purchased it. Probably the best $25 I ever spent. Also got a pair of the sylvania silverstar corner bulbs, so it still flashes yellow, cuz I ain't really too keen on the ricer neon blue or anything.

If you read some of the detail on those e-bay listings some of them state that they are for "show use only" or "not intended for highway use." I have thought about purchasing them but after reading some of these postings I think I'll wait.
