Air Pressure Question

Hey guys im new with 18'' wheels on my car..wut should my tire pressure be in them?? im running 235/40z/r18 i put 40 in the tires is that to much??? i guessing yes since its summer and while you drive tires balloon up a tad,should i go to 35 for the tires??? help me out brothers!!!

it should say inside the gas flap but usually a good setting is like 35-38PSI up front and 32-35psi in rear

oh ok....thanks guys....so i can still use about the same air pressure as my factory wheels and tires?. thats all i needed to know thanks again guys.
