Just got a new transmission :(
Well remember how I told you my car almost burned down. Ya well the transmission went, so I'm having a buddy who owns a transmission shop install a brand new one for $2800, which is also not to bad and my car will be brand spanking new

Is that a rebuilt or brand new from factory? Mine is about to go also. Does your friend have any contacts of transmission shops out here in SoCal? I'm getting some high quotes from a few places.
