I got the exact same tips on ebay, for like $80.....look good once installed....but they do need welding Maci!!!! The clamps that come with it are completly useless.... Had to pay the muffler shop to weld them on.....

car sounds so much more refined, alot higher quality sound. unfortunately i think i may have made it a tad too quiet, but when the initial packing burns off it will start to get slightly louder again. low end sounds like a rumbling V8, top end has that ferrari type wail... its a very aggressive sound, i love it. sound clips coming soon.

exactly lol, ya my 95 M3 is a beast. but ya it sounds extremely high quality infact.. during normal driving you barely hear it with windows up (thanks to our bulletproof windows ), just enough to know its there and with windows down its nice and sporty. But when u mash on it at WOT its song really starts to sing and past 6000 rpm it sounds fantastic. Once the exhaust breaks in im sure it will sound even better but still maintain some sense of civility which was lacking from generation 2 and especially generation 1. THe key i realized was the right muffler can, resonator did not play as big a role as i thought, Going from 2 10" to 1 34" resonator did not do much at all but going from ebay muffler to huge magnaflow exhaust really made tons of difference so i think thats key. Overall the entire gen 3 system only cost about $170ish, not bad for a benz exhaust considering they used to make systems for our cars above $1000.

Yeah, i totally agree that muffler cans design and material type is a main indicator of sound quality......resonator is definetly a must....but could be any kind.....also a hi flo cat helps, but mostly performace....
