best bang per buck max performance tire is Kuhmo MX, I put Kuhmo MX on fronts and Kuhmo 712's on rear (rears were practically free so thats why i put them on). mx's grip like no other. ABS almost never needs to kick in anymore b/c the tires grip so well in teh front. Comfort is great. I'm running 245/40/18 front and 265/35/18 in rear. I don't recommend the 35 profile tire, its too narrow and leaves too much wheel gap but 40's look good up front. hope that helps.

I have Dunlop SP9000s, summer high performance. Not a good all season tire, but a great performance tire. The car does not see any winter or bad weather (even rain) so they serve my purpose well.

I had those before mine. they are good high performance tire but they are not as good as a max performance tire like Kuhmo MX. my kuhmo MX's were superior to the Dunlap SP9000s. with that said SP's weren't bad either, much better than regular kuhmo 712s (ewww), or even worse... stock.
