How to take out rear speaker shelf....

hey guys, I need to take out that cloth rear speaker shelf so that i can unscrew the 4 sub speakers (to create ports to trunk for bass). What is required exactly to make it work, do i have to take out rear seat backs? what about headrests? any help is appreciated, thanks

I dont know how to pull the cloth back but if you have power headrest and a retracable backseat like the 500 you can just pop the back off real easy, but if you gonna port the back subs it might be easier to go from the trunk???? im just guessin on this one Omey!!! sorry dude.

naw what im saying is I am basically turning the trunk into a sub box and the speaker holes will act as ports to let sound into the cabin, otherwise no bass coems into the cabin. I thought the seat backs would just pop off but i wasn't 100% sure. I will try to do it myself. i'll let yall know how it turns out.

If your trunk is going to be a subwoofer box, I think you'll get plenty of bass in your cabin and the cabin of the car 3 lanes over from you.

Sorry, can't help with seat removal, but there are probably some hidden screws.
