W140 S600 Window switch
Hi
The front right electric window switch has been push through the panel of my S600. It wasn't abused but I think this switch has been used the most. I've spent hours pulling and nudging and only gained a few chips on the panel.
Does anyone know how to get the panel up to reseat the switch?

Ok. There is a special tool that you can make to unhook a clip located under the wood panel at the rear of the shift lever opening. That's the factory method. Here are instructions from www.alldatadiy.com. I don't normally post info from it, but I'm on vacation and have plenty of time to burn uploading images. Alldata is a very useful site for the W140 that is very much worth the subscription if you plan on doing your own work regularly.
