Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has a step by step removal of the W140 headlights. I remember seeing something on the internet a few months back, but my computer must have eaten the bookmark. I tried searching here and several other forums and have only found info on replacing lenses. Any help is appreciated.

I also want to know this. I want to eliminate the yellow capsules in my headlights. Anyone have the write-up of headlight removal?

OK, well I just finished up removing the passenger headlight and I must say it was a pain in the ***. It's not really difficult you're just gonna need some very small hands to get one of the screws out. First, I popped out the turn signal by pulling a lever. Might I add I found that by accident. Then I took out as many screws as I saw visable. Then I popped off the wiper assembly. Then came the ******* screw which was located behind the neck of the washer fluid reservoir.

Now I'm in bigger trouble. The Euro lights I picked up have different connectors on them and even stranger housings. I'm gonna do some more searching around to see if I can learn more until I make another post on it.
