Exhaust Component weights off Benz EPC/WIS DVD
hey guys,
just got my EPC/WIS DVD's in today
and been messing around with them here are the breakdowns of the weights for S320 exhaust system...
Exhaust section (catback) = 42lbs
Cat section = 35lbs
Steel manifolds = 20lbs (cast iron is usually double that so probably around 40lbs).
That means that i save about 22lbs when i upgarded my exhaust which is a good amount of weight removal. now that i got rid of the 34" resonator i dropped down weight to roughly 20lbs for my system (muffler is about 8lbs and resonators are about 3-4lbs each plus piping. Im happy![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
anyways if any of you are curious as to the weights of other exhaust components for your vehicles or any other info that might be on the EPC / WSI manuals let me know
