Weekend Car
I have a 97 S500 Coupe that currently, I only get to drive on the weekend. I have been told that allowing a car to sit as I'm doing will cause fluid leaks to occur. I am considering letting the car sit and idle a few minutes every other day in the garage to combat this, because I don't have the time to drive it during the week. I am wondering if alowing the car to idle will cause other problems. Any comments?

No don't do that, all it will do is build up a lot of mositure in the oil.
Letting a car sit for extended periods of time, ie maybe a year or more will cause the seals to start to harden.
If you average about 2k-3k miles a year you are fine.
Just remember with cars that are not driven much you need to do maintaince based on time rather then mileage.

Would it be better for my benz to sit and be driven on weekends (150kms) or drive it everyday for a bit?
I want to keep its showroom look for the longest time aswell as its low mileage.
I own a W202 though.
