140 Navigation

Has anyone installed factory navigation in an s-class 140, since it was such a rare option.

so it was an option? can it be retroed? steve? if you are listening could you reply? I have seen a mag with a picture of comand in a 140 so it is possible

yes i heard there was a factory conversion kit that you could get from the factory to do it but can not get my hands on one....just wondering if anyone did it themselves or purchased the kit?

Depends on which unit you mean. The japanese one, with the integrated
climate control steering or the european APS2 or APS4.
For W140, there is even the APS30 retrofit.

anyone have part numbers for these things, that site is a little hard to understand, but so can you put oem tv tuner and dvd player in there too? and all the other options that the 210 has?
