I know the price is too high but that low miles is so nice. It was priced 34.000 a couple of weeks ago, keeps reducing. How much do you think could be a fair offer? Around 25k?

yea that happens sometimes...that probably was a collector who bought your car.

I dont mean these are the values (how much they really worth) of these beautiful cars. they dont deserve to go for 25-35 k dollars. they were over 130k when new.

imagine the cheapest MB C230 Kompressor in 1999 was about 29-30k , now around 12-15k after 7 years . only 50-60 percent loss. But S600 with 140k price tag now goes for 80 percent less of its brandnew value. this is really not fair but thats what the market is.

It is so very difficult to sell these cars. These cars are very nice and rare but so are their customers. I know there is this guy in this board selling his 1999 S600 in great condition , asking only 21k or less.. no one interested yet
the one i have the link above has much lower mileage thats why i am interested in that one. I know the price on it is fair but i have no time issue and I know not of a big chance someone is going to buy it in for a while and the seller is going to have to reduce the price. So i am taking my chance to save some thousands. I am going to need all those savings for Brabus S73 S mods which would cost me double of what i would pay for the S600 itself.

brabus quoted 42000 (7.3L convertion)for the engine mods and another 20 for the bodykit , brakes, suspension, exhaust, wheels etc..

but this is the only for the ultimate sleeper. 617hp 0-62 in 4.5 seconds and the top speed of 195miles. just imaginin how nice it would be, smoking some serious fast 2 doors cars with this huge 4 door sedan lol

I think you're talking about my S600. I'm in Jersey. It's sold. I even have 2 others in line that were ready to buy it.

1987 300SDL aka the "Money Pit"
Nice car. Offer him $20k, he will laugh now but leave your number. Expect a call in six months to a year if he really wants it gone.

S600's have no re sale value. they are complex and suck fuel. The market is extremly limited.

Shame though wonderfull cars, the first owners got hosed but a car is a horrible waste of money so what do you expect?

2018 GLS63 AMG
Argh.. don't remind me

But I wouldn't trade it for any newer model S-class Just the looks, feel, and all the conversations it starts wherever I drive it make the ownership experience all the more wonderful.

well, thats what really was in my mind. I emailed the owner, She has a russian name, probably the first owner, might be a russian mafia car lol

The only problem so far is I live in MA and the car is in CA.

By the way, you guys think I can find used brabus parts for this car on this forum or ebay? Or it is worth it to buy brandnew parts from brabus with 1 year warranty? I am considering, Brabus body kit, 20 or 19 inch brabus wheels, Brabus brakes (front and rear) , Brabus Suspension, Brabus Complete Air intake upgrade and ECU upgrade for the first year.Next year when I graduate from college I am going to go for the engine convertion 7.3L. Which one of these would you recommend buying used for saving money? I know there are tons of slightly used Brabus wheels with tires in great condition and price for sale. How about brakes and suspention? would it be more wise to get them brandnew?

Thanks for the help
