Check Engine Light on.....again.
Sup guys well my newest problem on my beloved s500 has accured,i just dont know what it is just yet....as some of you know i had a $3600 total tune-up,camshaft cyclanoid(sp) replaced both of them,wiring harness replaced..and the Check Engine light finaly stayed off,well 6 months later it poped on again..so i disconnected the battery wait 30mins and it stayed off for 2 starts..but today after it set since Sunday..and just now my brother borrowed the S it came back on
(3rd starting)..anyideas on what it could be??? drives perfectly fine no bogging down or anything..if anything it seems to have more power with the light on??? could it be some smog sensor?? O2? MAF? help me out guys!

No i havnt taken it down yet to get the codes,i know by the owners manual is has something to do with the emissions,like i said before though its driving perfectly,im thinking O2 Sensors, can anyone give me a idea of what the problem could be. like my brothers SLK 230 Check Engine light came on and its the MAF we had the the tech pull the code..and its driving poorly right now...but my light is on and my S is driving great,doesnt make any sense.

Don't know much about the MAF but could it be busted cats? That would not change the way the car drives usually the first you know about a busted cat is when teh car fails a smog test.

Well I cleaned my MAF today and it help considerably...and the Check Engine Light stayed off after about 10 cranks and I finally got tired so i just went inside....so we will see.
