Okay so i was on a stright road and i decide to gun it. It shifts outta fourth@ 137mph according to the dash. Seems like i could have hit 150 pretty easily. is this car capable of actually going this fast or is the speedo inaccurate?. I have driven many other cars w/bigger motors, and i just didnt think it was possible with an I-6 Sclass.. Let me know. thanks

I have topped out the S320 (in mexico) it was pegged at the rev limiter @ 137. it can't really go any faster. still for a 6 cyll pushing almost 5000lbs thats pretty damn impressive that it can reach its natural top speed. its gearing limited so the answer is pretty much no.
