S420 mirror tint question/problem
Hi, I have a 1997 S420 that I recently noticed the drivers door mirror has taken on a funny looking yellowish green tint to it while the passenger side is fairly clear and has a slight grey/ blue look to it. I observed this during the day with the car off.
Nothing hit the mirror and the car spends most of it's time in a dark garage. This car is a joy at night because all 3 mirrors would go to a green tint when light hit them. How does this work??
I called Mercedes and they said sometimes the mirrors just turn that color. Has anybody else noticed this or should it be this way? Thanks, Chuck
