I'm trying to order some Plug wires & connectors for my '96 S320. Autohaus is asking for the engine serial #. Does anyone know where to find it? The owners manual shows an arrow pointing to a place under the hood on top of radiator support but its not there. Any ideas?

Getting this type of part from dealer is the best option just give them your vin # located at the bottom of driver's side windshield it might cause a little more but you get peace of mind that you get the right part, good luck.

Not all the vins are located in the window glass, there should be a silver plate on the front of the engine bay, you don't really even need a vin for this just find the engine model number I know mines a 104 or something but they changed the engine in 1994 so yours will be different and go to a local Bosh supplier, it will be the same part the dealer uses for about half the price.
