1992 600 Sedan
I have the option to pick up a 1992 600. It has 80k on it, and has had the wiring harness replaced as well as the map sensors, The catalytic converters were just replaced as well. It had the A/C compressor replaced, new tires and is pretty clean. All of the actuators for the trunk and doors function well.
Problems
It does have the SRS light on though.
It was hit and fixed, but not a great job.
He is asking 9k but we have already spoken of 8K.
Any opinions or what else should be looked at?

92 was the first year, and many problems were across the board the entire 140 line. Yiou mentioned AC compreeor, that is not one of the common issues, the evaporator very common, think $ 4/5 K dash comes out. the closing assist pump would be next in line some can be fixed $1.5 new at dealer. The Bose sound amp and CD changer are next in line, The suspension accumulators, lower control bushings, and sway bar bushings. Th rest is fairly standard but the engine compartment is crowded still has coils and distributor caps up to 95. The ASR can act up going into limp mode, lots of electronics!
SRS is the seat belt or airbag system, the set belts have a self tensioning system, I wonder if the accident triggered someting. Take the car to MB pay to have all the fault, codes red and give you an opinion. It appears someone went cheap on a very expensive car, how many owners and when was it hit. Or did someone pick it up and gave up trying to bring it back. cats and MAF sensors would indicate fuel/air issues like over oiled K&N filters, trying to make it go faster.
