92 S600 Sedan Values
I have a friend who is selling a 92 S600.
It has had the wiring harness replaced from the stealership as well as the a/c compressor replaced.
It has had other maintanence done as well. There is a stack of receipts.
It has 80k on it and is black on black, new tires.
It was hit lightly at one time but a good repair was done.
All of the actuators function well.
He is asking $8K
The only problem I can see is there is a SR light is on.
What could be a cause of this?
On 126's I had heard it usually is the contact ring in the steering column, is this also possible on the 140's?
What kind of value has this car?
The car is located in NJ.

$ 8K not bad
AC evaporator ($4K) bose amp ($!), close assist pump (1.5K), probably needs supension bushings, and engine and tranny mounts. you have to rembember the 600 is harder to work on than the 500 or so, it is basicly two 300s joined. It was the most outfitted with adjustable heat/AC in rear seat more wood and I think it has ADS, you should be able to have the dealer read the code and before buying it have a inspection done.
