Benz 1996 S60

Greetings everyone, I have a quick question to ask. I am currently overseas looking at purchasing a 1996 Benz S60 but everywhere I have looked on the internet doesnt seem to know if this car exsists. I have seen it its the S500 model but its an AMG S60. Anyone ever hear of the 96 model of this car? Can you shed some light on this?

Yes, it does exist. Just time your 0-60 time. If it's around 7 seconds, it's an S500 and if it's just a tick under 6 seconds 5.5 to 5.9 it's the real deal.

I saw ad for S60 wich I did not know existed, but evidently it is a AMG modified S600. It is a 12 cylinder version of the S500 and is a little pricier, a little faster, costlier to repair. It does have individual adjustable A/C in the back seat, and a little more "wood" and trim.
