Mirror compatability from a 420 to a 500?
Anyone know for certain if a driver side mirror (entire thing-not just glass) from a 97 S500 will fit a 96 S420?

Any help will be appreciated.

Pretty sure they are exactly the same just check that they are the same eg auto dimming, heated etc.

I checked the part number on some of the after market sites, and so far they are the same. All I need is the bracket from inside the mirror.

Anyone know where I can get this mirror? I'm on the hunt but so far am coming up empty.

I needed it for an S420, sedan, black preferably.

I found one in New Zealand, of all places, and the price was right, even with shipping and the western union charges, but we'll see once (and if) if arrives.
