Help, radio says "WAIT" but never comes on
our old w140 needed a jump start since we didn't drive it for a while, but after that the radio says "wait" and doesn't come on 
does anyone know what to do?

This happened to me once too. I think I put the wrong security code in three times, and WAIT appeared. I cycled the ignition thinking that would help, but it didn't. If I remember correctly, I left the radio on in WAIT status, and after a time it cleared itself. I can't remember how long it took, maybe 30 minutes? It will clear after a while.
