While enjoying my daily cruise of Ebay Motors, I just found a 1999 S600 in New York with 48,950 miles on it. Buy It Now Price of $22,000. Color is 904 Midnight Blue with Parchment. VIN:WDBGA57G&XA412477. Manufacture Date 3/98. It was purchased new in California in the spring of 98, registered in Florida in 2002, Atlanta in 2003, Illinois in 2005, and was auctioned in Georgia last month. Now a dealer in Brooklyn has it. It wasn't on a list posted on another sight of the 14 known 99 model S600s imported to the US. It's quite a looker!

just take it to the mechanic. maybe the rear pneumatic suspension needs replacing or something. thats a very rare color, low miles and a very fair price. enjoy the car!!!

I think it might be the ADS, I'd not drive it in this condition any more than I had to because once the suspension goes it's pretty costly to replace. First thing to check would be the fluid level it's in the manual but if it needs topping up there is most likely a leak so yeah the mechanic should be the first stop.

 

Thats a lot of owners and states. I would think that car one to avoid.. especially the Florida stint..

 

I don't really know much about your auto markets but considering how only so few S600's were produced in 97-99 in particular 1999 and considering the attrition rate for alot of people an inter-state search may be the only option to buy one.
