Rearview Mirror Rattles
When the car is staying around 80 mph the center mirror rattles is there a way to tighten it?

this is what i did
if you take the little plastic piece above the rear view off, be careful. it has a screw that has to be turned from an open face slightly angled wrench. if you just turn it a quarter of a turn it will stop that flopping from happening. this is sometimes very difficult as you cannot find the correct tool, and no slightly angled needle nose pliars do not work. if you are unsuccessful, place a small dab of a hi-quality superglue on the nut where it runs up the shaft so it will stop turning. this will fix it problably for a few years. good luck don't break it.
