W/S button

Hi all i have a 97 s500 coupe is it just me or has anyone realized while driving pushing the w button up the whole suspension stiffins front and rear? and pushing the sport side down the rear of the car lowers just a bit i can feel it lowering while driving.

My understanding is that the w/s button is for winter/summer driving. It changes the settings in the transmission to accomodate the weather.

yes thats true but mercedes through in some extras to that button as a benifit as what i stated before.

Yeah I'd say that changes the way the car drives for snow because you have ADS, I think the other button that controls the ADS is what you want to use for performance or comfort modes.
