OBD plug

Can anyone tell me where the OBD plug is on a 1995 S600? And do I need an OBD I or OBD II scanner for my car? Thanks.

thanks for the speedy response. Do I need to remove the black cover in order to access it?

I haven't bought one yet. I wanted to get a look at the plug before I bought one.

The Trisco Palm Scanner I refer to in the article was not great, but OK. I believe that it is out of production now. I would not recommend trying to find a used one. There is probably something better out there now to read OBD codes.
