Garage homelink
Ok anyone know how to program the garage homelink on the rearview mirror? lately me and my mirrors...lol... i have read my manuel but seem to still not be able to program.For one when i push the first and third button togather the lights dont blink just a steady color, and im pushing the buttons in for at least 2 full minutes to clear the memory and nothing no blinking.The garage opener is a wayne dalton quantum....help help help

I may be wrong, but I believe the 97 model had the non-rolling code homelink. If your opener has rolling code technology, it won't work. One way to check which you have is the color of the LED. If amber, rolling code capable, if green, not.
You don't have to clear the memory. You can just press the desired button until it begins to blink slowly, then keep it pressed while pressing the button on your old standalone remote. It will blink quickly when it has learned the code. You may have to teach your opener the code from your homelink after this (definitely do with rolling code.)
