1995 S320 and 1995 S500
Squeaky CAR!

My 1995 S500 is terribly Squeaky? ANyone ever have this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Coming from everywhere underneath the car. Mostly in the rear and hard thumps when you hit a bumb

I'd say it's the self leveling suspension.

Thats a good article on it. It's for the S600 but it's the same setup in all W140's with SLS.

I had a 85' Benz that was very squeeky. It was attributed to the old rubber components in the suspension. They referred to it as a dry rot and to fix it was pricey and not totally worth it. Something to consider, your car is 13 years old now. Good luck with it!
