Hello All, looking at a W140
I found a Mercedes - Benz 1992 500SEL on the web. ( Florida) It has 83,846 on the clock.
Silver / Gray Leather I checked the vin for the options list, the dealer has a free car fax.
I will take a look at this car on Saturday if you guys this this is a good deal. $8,495
From the pictures, the car looks clean and the leather looks new the dealer says no accidents. Please lend your experience.

They are typically getting $7 or so on a trade, If it has not had the evaporator done, the Bose, the closing assist pump, and suspension work, along with motor mounts those items are on your horizon. In a recent post there seems to be trans issues as they get close to 100K, as in my case which could cost anywhere from 3K to 6K at the dealer, I will find the true figure within a week or so.
Other than that I have owned mine since 95, and loved it, except for the high maintenance. The 96 and up are better mecanically.
