Lowering springs for the W140 HELP!!
Hi Guys looking for some feedback please.
Anyone who has lowered their W140, what springs and shocks did you use and how did it affect the ride?
I realize I am messing with one of the best riding cars of all time. Not sure I want to do that, if the ride quality is adversley affected too much by lowering my 95 S320.
Thanks in advance for all your feedback.

I would advise that you don't cut your springs, worst thing you can do.
I lowered mine with MAE springs relabeled H&R's with Bilstein HD's, you'll notice
a difference in ride quality but nothing dramatic enough for you not to do it.
Ride is almost like stock but with a more aggressive tighter feel, it won't feel like a floating boat as before.

i agree with calie320 that car is hella heavy and you cutting the springs will make the ride worse n possibly damage something on the car....plus ur canber must be horrible, i can tell when a car has the springs cut and when it's a full aftermarket suspension, i'm not bashing anyone, but i'm juss sayin for the safety man these cars are very tempermental when you *uck wit em too much lol
