Well I have run BF Goodrich, Michelin, Kumho, and Yokohama. - The Kumho lasted the longest at 23K. I just put on Yokohama's for the first time so I'm not sure. I went with a lower speed rating to see if they would have harder rubber and last longer. I dive about 20k a year and I've got tired of new tires each year.

I'm not running stock 16's I'm running the stock 18's but I'm having a good run with GT radials. They are a very hard tyre so the ride is no great but I've got about 40,000km out of them and they still have a wee way to go before being replaced.

I'm running Michelin Pilot Primacy tires. I wanted performance first, comfort second, and treadlife was least important to me. These are excellent tires as far as I can tell, and they seem to be holding up well as a bonus.
