1998 S320 door lock issue
Hey everyone,
My dad has been complaining about his driver's side door lock getting stuck. Apparently, the remote will unlock all the door locks except for the driver's side lock. The driver's lock will pop up just a little, as if it is getting stuck and you can manually pull it up. Is there an easy solution to this, before going to the dealer?

I'll bet it's the lock actuator, down inside the door. If you're at all mechanically inclined, it's a 30 minute job max to replace a less than $50 part.
At the dealer, it's likely to be a $200 job.
To verify, with the door locked, listen real carefully when you unlock with the remote for a hissing sound inside the door. That's the sound of air leaking out of the actuator instead of unlocking the door.
I'm assuming you can unlock the door with the key easily (no binding), right?
