Charity run in India
If the moderators don't like this, I apologise and please do remove it.
In the first 2 weeks of November, two of us are going to Goa to raise money for charity,
Karma Enduro
We are driving 2000km in 2 weeks in a Hindustan Ambassador, along with about 50 other cars.
Supported charities are Rainbow Trust Home Page and Adventure Ashram - Welcome.
The company Global Enduro Adventures organise a number of events each year to support these charities. Their websites will say more than I can.
The minimum we have to raise is £8500 and we are getting there, but about £2500 short at the moment. As there are several events each year and they have put in an extra one, ALL of the money raised is going to the causes.
I fully appreciate that we are not all rich and often run our cars on a shoestring, but there many others worse off.
There is a motorbike run they organise, but having had a rather bad accident 13 years ago, I'm wary of riding in India!
Paypal account is greenwood.dental@btconnect.com.
Many thanks just for reading.
We are paying all of the running costs (about £2000), so its not just a free holiday.
