96 140 computer reset for smog
since i had the heads done 1000mi ago, I have repeatedly taken the car in for a smog check and all sensors report 'not-ready' status. i have called the dealer and their smog tech said to drive the car for 100 to 200 miles and the computer will reset. After 1000mi no they say to drive the car without the ac on and 'maybe' the computer will reset. the emissions are reporting ok. Any ideas. Also since the head work (resurfacing and valve job) the car's temp runs between 85 and 100c, is this an ok operating range?
