Pre-1995 Tail light Upgrade?
I'm looking at a VERY inexpensive 1994 500SEL as a daily driver/beater to keep miles off of my other cars, but I strongly dislike the older style tail lights, is there a DIY guide on how to upgrade to the newer (95-99) style? Or do the newer ones just fit right in?

It requires the trunk lid corners to be rounded off, new tail lamps, lower reflective strip, and a different bulb holder in the trunk. The liner might also be different

Nothing, I just prefer the look of the newer ones with the amber or white turn signal at the top instead of how they're blended in with the red on the older ones. I'll just opt for a '95 or newer S500 instead of trying to save a penny or two. Thanks!
