Takin off RIMS????
ok naturally you would have only 1, screw thats the right screw, and all others would either spin or stay solid.
Well my friend just got a 98 S-500 Coupe with Lorinzer Rims, and for the world we cant take off the center cap to get the rims off????
Is there a special tool used for Lorinzer wheels????? an ordinary alen key wont work ...........they all spin, on all 4 wheels....please helppppp

you dont remove the allen heads to remove the center caps
there is a lorinser key that would go into those holes then you turn the whole center cap. If you can imagine a round magnifying glass frame and it has "teeth" on one side, where the teeth would fit onto the holes on the center cap. then you would rotate the whole key so that the center cap will rotate.
Man, i hope you understand what I'm saying.
The key is about $50-$100, depending how desperate you look when you go a wheel shop.

rims
I know exactly what u mean!
Thats what i thought, but the was no extra tools with the car so i guess the kid who sold the car kept the key.
Any idea where a key like that can be purchased?

I had these wheels on my mercedes ml. There lorinser D93's. There is a way to take them off without the key. Did it all the time. find a screw driver or allen wrench that fits pretty well in one of the sockets. I covered the hole with a paper towel, thin bed sheet etc, I used a number of things but whatever i was using fit in the hole. then lightly tap it with a hammer, the screw driver or whatever in the direction that it needs to turn to get it off. after a little bit of tapping and turning you will be able to press your hand against it and turn it off yourself. Good Luck, its diff possible without damaging.
