Question S600?

Hello,

I currently own a '99 SL500 and I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were regarding the S600. What's the "best" year to buy with the least mechanical (yes I know that's an oxymoron for MB's) issues as well as what feels the best torque wise.

Thanks a lot!
Rick

I've got two s600 cars, a 1995 with 285000miles and a 1998 with 150000 miles. The 1995 is slightly better specced car but in driving they are pretty much identical.

Certainly no difference in feel or apparent torque when driving.
