Battery, ABS & ASR Lights On....

Hi Guys & Girls,

I am hoping you can help me.

I have a 1994 S600 which I have picked up and noticed the battery, abs & asr lights are on. I understand this topic has been spoken about previously and I have read through them.

However... I have the same problem plus my battery light comes one. When I start the car the battery light pops up within 2-4 seconds and then the ABS & ASR light a second later. My first thought is the alternator is not charging which is normally when the alternator light comes on and I have read that if the volts drop the ABS & ASR lights will also come on. I have placed a meter on the battery and it is defiantly charging so the alternator is working.

Any suggestions what it could be.

Thank you.

If it is 18 when running the diodes in your alternator are most likely no good.
Putting out to much causing voltage problems triggering your ABS and OVP lights.
Also check the fuse on the OVP it is located on top of the unit.
I doubt it will be blown though.

The 13 is fine.
