after market stereo installation in s320

guys i been installing aftermarket stereo into my s320. everything worked out except i couldnt get any sound into the speakers. what am i doing wrong. i d appreciate the help if someone have installed the system in w140

no sound? did you bypass the stock amp?? u need to bypass it...

simply pull of your running panels under the doors and run wires from the deck to the wires that are under the running panels, those wires run to the speakers in the rear doors. front speakers should be the easiest once done u will get sound.

i installed a navi unit in my C36 all by myself. and JL tweeters and a W6 it sounds awesome!

thanks for your reply. i was wondering isnt it the same concept as other amps. that when you put the live wire and remote wire amps turn on. i am just wondering am i missing any 12v wire that goes to the amp?
i wanted to use that bose amp even though it doesnt give me the sound properly.

From what I have heard the output of the Becker was not standard audio, people have done it by using adapters. The Becker 92-95 was a two piece radio and had two channels feeding a seven channel amp. Here is the plug from the bose amp

finally installed the off market stereo

thanks peter
FINALLY I INSTALLED THE STEREO, EVERYTHING WORKS. it was very easy. Antenna power and speakers + wires turns on the amp. thats what i was doing wrong.
